If you want a connection that comes the home office to your home then Verizon offers that, local cable companies pipe their signals in from other providers so you don’t really know who your internet provider is, you just know where the bill gets sent. If you need something technical you might have to call an overseas operator to get help. Verizon is close and provides local support.

For those that have Verizon as their cell phone provider you get mobile phone access to your e-mail, cable companies can’t provide that, and you get full sync with your Blackberry, cable companies don’t have that kind of available technology.
